For those of you in high school, who are being beaten over the head with "you won't be able to get into college if you don't have a good average," I feel for you. It is a lot of pressure and while I can't deny a grade point average is very important, it is not the end all and be all of your existence, no matter what anyone tells you. When I look at myself and I take a look outside, I see a total contrast. The trees are approaching the end of their bright green cycle. I imagine them growing tired as they fight the autumn winds. They put up a good battle and I am always fascinated to watch the leaves cling to their branches - dry now and a golden brown. Until one final gust whips them off and they flutter miserably to the ground.
